Colorful banners and trees provide shade on one of the walkways in Silver Dollar City Theme Park in Branson, MO on July 28, 2023. Conserving trees was a huge deal for Mary Herschend, one of the original founders of Silver Dollar City back when it was started in 1960. To this day, large mature trees provide shade to visitors throughout the entire park along with many that have been planted since then.
