The Fondriest family plays in the water at the Hasty area of the Buffalo National River in Hasty, Arkansas, USA. Amelia and Henry have grown up in the Ozarks only minutes from the river, so go there often to swim, hike or just play in the sand. They both have a love for the frogs, tadpoles, fish and any other critter they find in the water or on the shore. It's always an adventure when they go to the river. The Buffalo River was the first river in the country to be designated a 'National River' (in 1972) and is managed by the US Park Service. 135 miles of free flowing pristine waters are protected within the park boundary. (Amelia Fondriest is young girl, Henry Fondriest young boy, Tim Fondriest is dad)
