Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly jam sessions that were typically held inside the old McClurg general store had been put on hold. Wiith the recent return of warm weather, they have started them up again outside in an open barn adjacent to the store. This is one of the few places where Old time Ozarks music passed down by ear can be heard. As legend Alvie Dooms listens to the music he said, "There's a lot of good musicians in these hills if you can just get 'em out."
