His large hillside yard has a view of downtown Little Rock and is filled with herbs, fruit trees, and other medicinal plants that Terry harvests. Terry was finally diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis 6 years ago at the age of 54 after having suffered his entire life with the disease and never being diagnosed. He's emmersed himself in learning about how plants can help his health. He is a certified master gardener and working the land has been one of his salvations over the years.
