New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Nielsen speaks to students at the rural Bruno-Pyatt school in Eros, Arkansas on December 5, 2025. At the end of the semester, the Bruno-Pyatt school is closing, and librarian Heather Knapp used money donated to the library to pay for a 'once in a lifetime experience the kids will never forget.' Most students were studying Nielsen's 'False Prince' book as she engaged with them about that story and others. Mostly, the goal of her speaking was to inspire and encourage students to be themselves and think creatively. As of December 5, Nielsen has 28 books published. 2 Students from nearby Valley Springs school also came to interview Nielsen for their school paper.
