After 50 years of memories and community, the Bruno-Pyatt school will be closed down in December of 2025. Former students, teachers, administration, families and community members gathered one last time on November 29, 2025 to reminisce, listen to local music, share stories, walk the halls, and celebrate the school that's been at the heart of the community for the past 50 years.
Main event organizers were Beverly Cothran, Melea Hemphill, and Kelsey Walker Henderson, technical assistance by Heather Knapp, photography by Terra Fondriest, livestreamed by Kelly Hancock Smith.
